I held a small private class last night for a few friends from my church. I invited them to come with me on a shop to Nipper's Corner afterwards.
We walked the aisles and I talked with them about overage, stockpiling and adding in items that they might need for the week. We then approached the register. There was a new cashier working last night that was training for the new Antioch store. After she rang up everything, I handed her my coupons one section at a time while my friends stood gawking at the computer screen.
I could hear them exclaiming as the balance got lower and lower. Then they did something that I really wasn't expecting.
They clapped. Really loudly.
I felt both a mixture of embarrassment and pride. On the one hand I didn't want to draw attention to myself but on the other hand it was nice to see them get so excited about something that I knew was going to help them all save money.
Thank you for the wonderful moment guys. It was truly inspiring.

NOTE: Rick wasn't really there. I photoshopped him into the frame; that's why he doesn't look surprised.
