$5/50 HG Hill coupon

TOTAL: $416.09
TOTAL AFTER COUPONS: $16.96
SAVINGS: 96%

NOTE: Purchased the Welch's without realizing that the coupons that I used were for a different size. Mandi emailed me asking about the discrepancy in size. Bummer; I was really hoping to go back to get some more (I thought .24 cents a bottle was too good to be true; I should have known better.....I have NEVER seen Welch's at this price). All of the blogs I checked this week had this coupon combination but I just checked and they have removed the combination of coupons (they must have heard from their readers). :(

NOTE: I printed the Kashi Whole Foods Q last month. I printed 10 of them when it became available because I knew that they would go on sale eventually. The moral of this story: print the coupon when you see it. After you have been couponing for awhile you will begin to know that the coupon that you just printed will make things free......eventually.

NOTE: Lisa, now is the time to stock up on the All Small & Mighty for your HE washing machine. $1.00 a bottle for 32 loads. Excellent price.

NOTE: Customer service allowed me to use the Knox coupon today but told me that they would not take it after today. I was very thankful that they allowed them as that was my last set!

Yeah. Hello dear friend. Thank you for leaving a comment! You made my day. I was hoping you'd see the special mention. If that's all it takes to get you to leave a comment then I'm going to mention you in every post.

Inspiring as always! Love it that you are BACK!!!! :)

Bethany, shhhh....don't go telling people that I'm back. I'm just sneaking in and posting for my friends.

You don't have to mention me in EVERY post. Just most of them. Kidding. Actually, as long as you email a link every time you post something new, I may actually get the chance to check and comment. :)(and look at this--2 comments under one post!) Lisa

Awesome trip! Now I have to go make my list...;)

Hey! What Publix do you shop at that allows you to get this overage? I usually shoip at Concord Rd, but they have not allowed me to get overage - on occasion, some cashiers do not care! I chatted with the manager who said that they generally don't allow overage. Just curious which store is so coupon friendly.

Thanks,
Bethany

Bethany, I shop at several different stores in the area including Concord. If you are having problems at Concord I would encourage you to email Corporate and address your concerns to the District Manager for that area (i.e. ask that the District Mgr. call you back). In your email, I would indicate that Concord is adjusting your coupons or not accepting them at all for certain products at their discretion. Tell him in your email that this is very confusing to you as you don't know what the price of the items are that you put in your cart because you are never sure what coupons they are going to take. He will respond to you personally.

Bethany, the store is supposed to allow overage on the coupon. If the manufacturer put the coupon out for that amount then they cannot adjust it and they have to accept it for the product listed.

My favorite stores are Royal Oaks, Fieldstone Farms, Moore's Lane and Maryland Farms.

Bethany, one other thing. Just make sure that you are not walking in and buying just the items with overage and a few other items. The cashiers will be concerned about this. It is easier to get your overage when you have a bigger shop. It's ethical either way but the older cashiers do not get troubled as much.

Fogot to mention in the redplum insert 3/14 some regions got 4 dollar sudafed om product coupon(checked it like 10 times to make sure i am reading the right thing)so with the 2 dollar publix coupon in the green flyer u got overage of 2 bucks if the sudafed om is 3.99 at ur store...

starbucksgirl said...

Hey Tina, how's it goin? I just checked your blog again (hey, when are you actually going to post some deals)? LOL.

Thanks for the heads up on the moneymaker Sudafed. Kathy Lott and I were just discussing that this morning. Unfortunately, our region (Nashville) didn't get the $4/1 Q, however, you can still use the $4/1 OM w/purchase of Sudafed Q and use it as a moneymaker.

Nice to hear from you sweet girl.

Would love to post on my blog...no clue of how to do to it.....sorry!!am not much computer savy....btwn will try and see if i can send u some of the sudafed coupons....tc...

Did you get the All for $1, or free?

Mandi said...

Thanks for sharing your shop details with us, friend. There are a lot of deals here that I did not know about. It takes a lot of time for you to post all of this, I'm sure, and I really do appreciate your tips!

starbucksgirl said...

Tina, I can help you with that. You can call me. Just send me your email address if you're interested.

Mandi, the All detergent was $1.00 each. Thanks for the heads up; just posted it wrong. Thanks for your encouragement; I love posting and I have a little more time now that Sydney is older. :)

Can you tell me where you got the P&G coupons for the pantene? I shopped today at Maryland Farms and looked all over for it. Thanks

starbucksgirl said...

Hey Dixie Clip, I was wondering if I would see you here. :)

The $.75/1 peelie is bright yellow and it can be found on the large bottles of Pantene. I haven't shopped at Maryland Farms for awhile now; I am currently shopping at Moore's Lane (Cool Springs) and Royal Oaks (Franklin). I have seen the peelies at both of these stores.

Have a great night!

starbucksgirl said...

Dixie Clip, what kind of Pantene are you looking for? Do you use a certain type (i.e. beautiful hair, smooth, color treated, etc). I currently have several of the nature infusions. You are welcome to a few of them if you use them.

starbucksgirl said...

Dixie Clip, You could stop by and say hi and we could share tips! I live off of Edmondson in Wexford Downs.

Bethany said...

Awesome trip as always! Thanks again for the reminder about the Nyquil. Also, at my store the Mahatma Rice Packets were $.69! Yay, nothing makes you smile like extra overage! :)

Dixie Clip said...

I would love to get together to share tips, although I must admit you seem to find way more than I do :) Thought I found a hot moneymaker with the new Hallmark coupon at Publix and then read the fine print there is a minimum purchase- darn!

I was just thinking the other day that a few of us Nashville couponers should get together and share stories. I get so excited about deals. I bore my husband with the details!

As for the Pantene, my shampoo snob sisters would kill me but I use just about any kind- doesn't seem to matter! Thanks for the tip!

Love that you are back blogging for your friends. It is a very selfless, nice thing! We sure do appreciate your hard work.

Dixie, maybe I should plan a little get together at my house so that we can all meet. There are several local bloggers in this area and it would be fun to get together to hang out one evening. Maybe we could meet at my house for some coffee and some treats. :)

starbucksgirl said...

Bethany, sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. I had a sinus infection last week too. :(

Dixie Clip said...

Sorry I didn't respond earlier but a get together would be awesome. I will bring the rice krispy treats though :)

Jennifer said...

Hey there!

On the "Put Clean in your cart" P&G coupons, they say "not to be used in conjunction with any other coupon". I read that as we couldn't stack it with a Mfg Q - is that right?

Jennifer said...

I forgot to ask - where is there a Publix in Fieldstone Farms? I only knew of the ones in McKay's Mill & Royal Oaks in Franklin.

starbucksgirl said...

Hey Jennifer, the wording on those coupons does not pertain to manufacturer coupons. It just means that you can't combine the "put the clean in your cart" coupons with another Publix coupon.

The Publix in Fieldstone Farms is right outside of the entrance to Fieldstone Farms.

-----------

Dixie, I think I'll do a post about a get together and see what days work for everyone. I would love to meet all of you guys.
