Heading out of town but wanted to let you know that I found Snuggle on in-store special at Royal Oaks (not sure if it is on sale at the other Publix stores). It was $2.87 (so moneymaker with the Snuggle Q from the recent insert).

We did one more shop this week because I realized that the Ben & Jerry's was not going to be on sale next week (Advantage Q expires tomorrow). I purchased a few $1/1 Ben & Jerry's manufacturer Q's off of EBAY about 3 weeks ago and they were burning a whole in my pocket. My babysitter loves Ben & Jerry's. :) Have a great weekend!

TOTAL: $308.90
TOTAL AFTER COUPONS: $18.80
SAVINGS: 94%

NOTE: Was given $20 to purchase the Talenti so we actually paid $0 out of pocket.

NOTE: I am exhausted from the great deals at Publix, Kroger and Harris Teeter over the last two weeks. I think Jason and I have gone to the store at least 15 times. We filled up our stockpile though and we have plenty to sell at our garage sale in a few weeks. I spent about $8 at Publix (after rebates) and received $908 worth of groceries. Many of these items will last us for the entire year (especially the Snuggle).

I just had to make another run as the deals were just too good to be true. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding these items.

I had to purchase a few items for my daughter's first birthday which I threw into my shop and there are some other items pictured that I didn't have coupons for but had to throw in because I needed them. Many of the other items are the same as the last shop (check 3/24/10 post for more details) but I did add the following items which were on sale or were FREE:

10 Kraft Cheese $1.66 ea. (sale price)
- used $2/2 blinkie right next to cheese
= $.66 ea.
2 Mott's Applesauce $1.36 ea.

$5/50 HG Hill Q

TOTAL: $302.77
TOTAL AFTER COUPONS: $14.70
SAVINGS: 95%

NOTE: I will submit the ziploc bags for $5 rebate and someone is buying the cheese from me so my final total will be $3.10.

NOTE: A special thank you to the folks that gave me the Flinstones coupons. I purchased 2 more sets and will go back tomorrow for one more (that's right....I'm going on 3 shops this week). We use many of the items that are on sale this week so I'm pretty excited to stock up for the next 6 months.

Harris Teeter Triple Coupons 3/26/10

Jason and I went out to eat at our favorite Persian restaurant last night (Hot Kabobs on White Bridge Road). We love their food but we were saddened to hear that they are going to be closing this weekend (the casual dining segment has been hit hard during these economic times). We have seen three of our favorite ethnic restaurants close this year and there are only five in town that we really like.

Go ahead.....you can shed a tear for us.

After dinner, we made a quick stop at the Harris Teeter in West End since we were in the neighborhood. We had an unbelieveably good trip as the register took $10 off of our order because of some point promotion deal that they are doing through the end of this month. Our balance was $1 (which is the lowest balance that I have ever had at Harris Teeter).

MONEYMAKERS
$10 off at the register because we reached 200 points (cashier indicated that the promotion was ending in March). I have no idea how this promotion works but you should check your receipts to see if you are close to the 200 points (look at the bottom where it says "Nashville points)" as it may make a difference in your triple coupon shop this week. Again, I have no idea how this promotion works so if you know then please post in the comments section.

Double Whammy

A funny thing happened on the way to lunch with my husband today...not only did I get a ticket but then I proceeded to lock my keys in my car immediately after I pulled up to the restaurant.

I may/may not be posting my shop later on today. Just depends on if I can get these issues resolved so that I can make it to the store. LOL.

I ran into my friend Brandy (ipreferpublix) in the Publix parking lot today. She is the only other couponer that I consistently see at the store; we've probably run into each other at least 4 or 5 times over the last year. Hope you had a great shop Brandy! Nice to see you.
