NOTE: I generally post the coupons that I use for my deal in the above section. There are other coupons out there but the purpose of my blog is not to list every coupon possible for each item. The purpose of my blog is to give you a visual on what you can get every week along with the combination of coupons that I used. Please keep that in mind when reading these posts. There are other blogs/websites that list the entire combination of coupons that can be used. That's their thing; not mine.
NOTE: The cashier adjusted Jason's milk and chocolate milk Q's but my cashier didn't adjust them and they scanned at $4.00 and $3.75. Can you say "unexpected overage?" My sugar coupon was out of date by a few days but they let me use it.

Hey Kelly - Several people looked ahead and knew that the $6 pork coupon would be taken down early based on last year! I came across saved PDFs on both slickdeals.com and fatwallet.com. Here ya go: http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=1431881&page=2
Kel - can you please clean up this link? I don't know how to do HTML tags so it looks clean. Thanks, honey.
Welcome back, baby.
First thing first; WOW. Secondly, how do you ask the deli to break your meat? I mean do you ask them to do it by pound or in half?
Hey Kelly! Great deals! How do you get a rain check?
Glad you got the shave gel coupons! I have tons more of those $1.50/1 Target store coupons (good on either Skintimate or Edge) that pair well with the recent insert coupons if anyone wants to trade. :)
I did want to post and ask you about where to purchase the $4/1 Kingsford coupons. I looked online at Ebay and Coupon Clippers and couldnt find them. We didnt get them here.
Hey Kelly! I am so glad you are back! I missed my Publix inspiration!!!
Great deals girlfriend! I love how you are breaking out the moneymakers, etc. so we can all see them.
One more question... I am going to do the Charcoal deal this week and was wondering if I have the coupons I need.
I have:
$4 Charcoal MQ
$3 Charcoal FL
$1/2 KC BBQ FL
Are there any other coupons that I can use to make the deal sweeter? I am headed to a Publix either in the city or one closer to the new store that opened up.
Thanks!!!
Welcome Back. Thank you again for a very detailed list. :) I am working on getting my list that good.
Lori, thanks for the link. :)

Kathy, hey hot mama! Thanks for the shout out.
-----------
Bryan, thanks for posting your pic.
-----------
Katie, I don't generally have to ask the butcher to break up meat as our Publix always has cheap beef and pork items. In the past when there were no cheap cuts we asked the butcher to break up the package into two portions so that we could cook one portion at a time without having to thaw both portions. Make sense?
------------
Michelle, you can get a raincheck when they are out of a specific item.
------------
TanyaW, I don't think that there are many sources left for the $4/1 charcoal Q. You had to think ahead on that one. I bought 120 of those coupons almost 2 months ago when the coupon first came out.
------------
Bethany, you are missing the $2/1 BBQ wyb charcoal Q. This makes the BBQ sauce free and the flip just sweetens the deal by making the BBQ sauce a moneymaker.
-------------
pinkorbluewilldo, thanks for the welcome back.

NOTE to those that don't have pics up yet: you should create a blogger account and post your pic. There's not much use in making this blog private and exclusive if we can't at least see the members that are here so that we can have camaraderie. If you don't create a blogger account in 30 days then blogger will drop you from my blog anyway (it's one of their rules for private blogs).
Hey there,
I am new to blogging and currently am doing this through Google Account. Do I need to switch to Blogger? If so, do you know how I do that?
Thanks for the heads up on all the deals!!
One more question, how do you get extra coupon inserts? Do you subscribe to the Tennessean for more? Or do you pick them up on Monday (if you can find them)?
Thanks again!
Jennifer
Quick question, what do you do with all you vitamins, I don't use them and hate to throw them away. Any suggestions?
Also on the $3 FL coupon off of charcoal it says on the coupon per transaction, per day. I assumed it meant can only be used for one transaction? Did you have any problems?
Welcome back!
I am going tomorrow to do my first charcoal deal. How many have you/ your husband accomplished in one trip?
Leisa
Jennifer, you can also access the blog through Google, however, I'm not familiar with how to add a pic to your Google account. I would just "google" it and see what the answer is. If you can't add a pic to google then just create a blogger profile and add a picture there.
In answer to your insert question...I get my extra inserts from my local recycle bin. I don't subscribe to the Tennessean. I get all of my inserts from the recycle bin.
-----------
Bec, I give my vitamins to a local healthcare center here in Nashville that provides free healthcare to folks. It's called Siloam.
Re: the $3 FlIP. YMMV depending on which Publix you shop at. I never have a problem here in Nashville at the stores I shop at. Publix does not have an across the board policy on using FLIPS. Some stores let you use more than one some only let you use one per transaction.
--------
Leisa, we usually buy 5 bags at a time (because of the $50 manufacturer limitation). Now that we don't have that limitation anymore in Nashville, we will probably try to find out what the new threshold is and then buy as many bags as we can along with the pork, beef, BBQ sauce, etc.
Have a great shop. Hope it goes well!
If we have a google account and not a blogger account will they drop us? Do I need to create a blogger account? I am new to all this...I don't quite understand all of it. Thanks Wendy S.
I set up a Blogger account w/ a photo & I think I got it switched over. Let me know if it worked! (Sorry, I'm new to blogging & don't quite understand it all!)
Wendy, your Google account will work. Just go to your google account and creat a profile and add your picture there.
--------
Jennifer, you did great. Thanks for adding your pic!
Hi! I finally figured out how to post my pic. Thanks for sharing the deals you found!! Tricia
I was at Food Lion in Smyrna a few days ago and found a rebate form to sweeten those charcoal/pork deals! It was for a $2 rebate when you buy Kingsford charcoal & KC Masterpiece barbeque sauce.
Hi Kelly,
Just wanted to let you know I found this link for some hot printable coupons for the charcoal deal. It's for FREE BBQ sauce wyb charcoal. On my way to Food Lion for the first time and another publix to work this deal.

***Coupon Alert***
Just at the Harris Teeter on Franklin Road in Brentwood. They had Kraft/Nabisco savings booklet (Save up to $55.) They were out last week, but have restocked. It's located near the bread section.
If you have any Skippy coupons, they are have a BOGO sale on these. So peanut butter for less than .40 cents!
Thanks for the heads up Cheapster!
I tried to do the charcoal deal today at both the Maryland Farms store and Nippers Corner but both were out of charcoal. I did get some rainchecks at the Maryland farms store, but my question is will they still accpe the FLIP $3Q when they restock b/c it sayd it exp. 08/11/09? Thx!
Katie, they should take the FLIP. I know that Maryland Farms will honor it usually because Earthymama uses her expired Q's with her rainchecks. I'm sure Nipper's corner will too. If you have a problem just talk to the customer service manager either during the checkout process or afterwards. Explain that they were out of charcoal when you were trying to use the coupon. I don't think that you will have a problem. Report back here with your results. Thanks!
It's always neat to see pictures of other people's stockpiles. I would love to see pictures of your stockpile. :O) How do you decide when to purchase coupons (i.e. charcoal and sundown vitamins)? Does that just come with experience?
I hope you're having a wonderful day.
tshanina, I might do a post on my stockpile soon (just for fun)! It's getting out of hand; I actually have 4 large pantries of stuff and I'm out of room.
I usually purchase coupons that I know will provide large amounts of overage. I can sense ahead of time that I will need loads of them and I just buy as many as I can. I do think this comes with experience. I have been couponing for a year now.
So, looking at the coupons from this past weekend's papers, did you see any that you sense would give you overage? I would love to see a post on that. Also, would love to see a post on your weekly process of putting together the deals for your shops. This is coming from a newbie that is very intrigued and wants to learn!!!
Tshanina, I actually don't look at the coupons in the inserts until I see the ads (I get all of my coupons out of the recycle bins so I usually get them later than most people).
Since I have been doing this for a year I have a pretty good idea re: what everything costs at Publix so when I see the sale price I know how much I can get it for after coupons.
You would laugh at the way I prepare for my shops. It's pretty chaotic. I read several blogs and spot things here and there that look like good deals to me and then I print my IP's, clip my coupons and brainstorm re: what else might be free or close to free. Again, I think the preparation comes with experience. I am a very visual person and I have a photographic memory re: coupons (not for other things I assure you). When I see a sale price then I remember the coupon amount that goes with it and I also remember whether I saw a FLIP or Target IP that goes with it too.
I guarantee that you will have your own special way of preparing for shops. I have friends that put everything in a spreadsheet before they go to the store or they clip all of the coupons in the inserts and bring them all with them and just shop when they see something, etc. Everyone does it differently.
I want to be efficient so I prepare at home on Tuesday night for my Wednesday shop and then I prepare again on Saturday before my Sunday shop. Takes me about 1.5 hours to prep and about an hour to shop.
